We are pleased to honor Mr. Wockenfuss as the 2016 recipient of the Outstanding Outstanding K-12 Administrator award. Director of Operations and Special Programs, Kelsey Arends had this to say about Mr. Wockenfuss, “Gary Wockenfuss is the principal of Weeping Water Public Schools. Over the past two years, Mr. Wockenfuss has supported teachers and students who have participated in every semester of NCR’s Rural Civic Action Program. Because of his leadership in promoting service learning across courses, – health, family and consumer science, world geography – grade levels, and teachers, and his strong commitment to ensuring student access service learning and continued community engagement, we are proud to award Gary with the 2016 Outstanding K-12 Administrator Award.”

Gary Wockenfuss is student-centered, with keen insight into the processes and programs that prepare students for work and school.
